City Celebrating Robinson-Trueblood Pool

Posted

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Talk about a major pool party!

It's time once again for the eighth annual Robinson-Trueblood pool reunion.

The pool was originally dedicated in 1953 and renovated in 2001. The pool boasts a zero depth entry, interactive water-play features, two lap lanes, a bath house and a 98-foot, two-loop slide.

This weekend it a family-friendly event to celebrate the facility. There's of course swimming, plus basketball, volleyball, horse shoe and ping pong.

The Robinson-Trueblood pool reunion is Saturday, August 8, with festivities starting at 11 a.m.

It's at the pool at the Lawrence-Gregory Community Center (1115 Dade Street in Tallahassee).
