TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- If you're looking for something to get you in the holiday spirit, Canopy Roads Baptist Church is here to help.

The organization is hosting Movies in the Park.

It's a family-friendly, free event, filled with two hours of Christmas cartoons on a huge screen.

Some selections include the classics like A Charlie Brown Christmas and Mickey's Christmas Carol, plus many others.

There's also hot chocolate and homemade cookies.

Organizers say they wanted a fun, simple way for families to come together during the Christmas season.

Movies in the Park is Saturday, December 12 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Tekesta Park, on the corner of Deer Lake South & Tekesta Drive in the Killearn Lakes subdivision.

It's free and all are invited. Organizers suggest you bring a blanket and/or something to sit on.
