TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee's Jack McLean Community Center and Teen Council will host the 'Change Your Mind, Change Your Life' event on Saturday, February 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Jack McLean Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road, Tallahassee, Florida.
Organizers say the focus of the free event is to help educate youth and their parents about positive programs and activities available in the community.
According to Lizzy Kelley, with the City of Tallahassee's Communications Department, attendees will enjoy live performances from singers, dancers, poets and more. Motivational speakers will also be at the event, as well as a variety of vendors and agencies. Free food will be provided by Olive Garden. The family friendly event also includes free haircuts, a clothing giveaway and door prizes.
