TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Thursday, October 9, 2014 the Big Bend Environmental Forum and the League of Women Voters of Tallahassee are hosting a candidates' forum for local candidates. It is an opportunity for voters to hear opinions on environmental issues from those seeking election.
Candidates invited are those running for Leon County Commission District 1, Leon County Commission At-Large, Group 2 and Leon County Soil & Water Conservation Districts 1, 2 and 4.
Organizers say citizens will be able to suggest questions covering environmental, energy, sustainability and growth management issues.
The forum will take place at City Hall, 300 South Adams Street, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A candidate meet and greet will begin at 5:15 p.m.
