TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Bethel A.M.E. is celebrating its 150th anniversary, and using that to give back to the community.
The church is again teaming up with the Florida A&M University Institute of Public Health to offer a free health clinic.
Vendors and health care professionals will be on hand. Organizers say it's in "keeping with its ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness inside and outside the walls of the church."
There are free health screenings, seminars, healthy snacks and a three- or five-mile fun walk.
The health fair is Saturday, October 24, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. It's at Bethel A.M.E. Church (501 W. Orange Avenue) and is free to take part.
