TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- If you're looking for a little more zen in your life, the Tallahassee Chan Center is ready to help.
The group, which is part of the Tallahassee Buddhist Community, is hosting a beginner's meditation workshop. It's a way to reduce stress, regain health, and development of focus and clarity.
Instructors will be on-hand teaching the correct breathing techniques, poses and positions and self-massage. All ages are welcome.
Guo Gu, teacher of the Dharma Drum Lineage of Chan Buddhism and Professor Fran Berry joined us on WTXL Midday for all the information. Click the thumbnail to watch the interview.
The three-session beginner’s meditation workshop is June 6, 13 and 27 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. each night. It's at the
Tallahassee Chan Center (647 McDonnell Drive). There is a suggested donation of $70 for all three classes.
