TALLAHASSEE, FL - A preview reception coming up this month will let people know about a program aimed to keep Tallahassee's 50-plus population healthy and active in the community.

Hella Spellman joined WTXL's Christine Souders on Sunrise to talk about Tallahassee active lifelong leaders and how to become one.

The Tallahassee Active Life long Leaders' Class 9 Preview Reception is being held Wednesday, September 14th, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tallahassee Senior Center.

The objective is to keep the senior population healthy and active.

The community leadership program for people age 50 and older is made possible though the Tallahassee Chamber.

Tallahassee Active Lifelong Leaders or TALL's purpose is to provide actively engaged adults with snapshots of the cultural, political, safety, legal and justice, educational, and health and human services.

TALL Graduates will be on hand to share their experience.

Applications for Class 9 are available on Sept. 14th.
