TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The annual Gold Medal Gala and Awards is almost here!
This event, now in its eighth year, celebrates Special Olympics athletes from the area. It also helps raise money for the organization, which goes back to providing transportation for the athletes to and from practice and competitions.
The Gold Medal Gala and Awards are set for Saturday, July 11, but you must register by this weekend. Tickets are $40 a person.
