TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- Bottles. Blankets. Milk replacement. These are common items on any baby shower registry.

Saturday, they appeared on a wish list drawn up by the Leon County Humane Society as the shelter takes in dozens of infant felines.

Kittens often need to be bottle fed if they're separated from their mothers too early. The little ones also require special supplies like specialized bottles and baby cat food.

Saturday's "Baby Bottle Shower," gave residents the opportunity to play with kittens, while dropping off much needed donations.

The list of items the shelter will need throughout the summer season to help orphaned kittens is still available on Amazon.com and can be found here: http://a.co/6o3yLeC
