TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- September 8, 2015 marks 450 years since the City of St. Augustine was founded.
It's the oldest in the U.S., and is home to some of the country's most historic landmarks.
In honor of the anniversary, city leaders are inviting everyone to come check out everything the area has to offer, like The Fountain of Youth and the site of the first Thanksgiving.
Florida travel expert Kara Franker says events are going on now through the end of the year and there's something for the entire family.
