TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are hosting a fundraiser event in Tallahassee at the Junction at Monroe, happening on Saturday, June 10 at 9:30 p.m.
The event is titled the Red Empire Fundraiser and all proceeds will benefit the public service programming of the sorority, which includes the Annual Youth Empowerment Summit, the Delta Academy, and Delta G.E.M.S.
These programs are geared towards mentoring the youth.
These proceeds will also benefit participation in such community events like the Sickle Cell 5K, Mayor Gillum's Annual Christmas Adopt-a-Family initiative, and Relay for Life.
