TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Cascades Park was filled with kids and families Saturday looking for some fun.
Kids Fest is an annual fundraiser that benefits the organization Kids Incorporated of the Big Bend.
Kids Incorporated is dedicated to educating and supporting families and young children through early learning, health, and family services.
The CEO of the company expresses how important these events are for the well-being of children.
"I want them to get that spending time with children at an early age, is a benefit to them," said Lafonda Wilson, the CEO of Kids Incorporated of the Big Bend. This is an opportunity for the child to know that they are the first thing on the parent's mind and that they are important.
There were many different sponsors at today's event: some of them include: Florida Blue, Lighthouse Health Plan, and Fun for Tally Kids.
