Deputy Police Chief SALARY RANGE: $26.88 to $61.78/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $56.50/hour. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must reside in Florida, within a 35-mile radius of the intersection of North Monroe and Tennessee Streets, Tallahassee, at the time of appointment. Visual ability must be correctable to 20/20 in each eye with normal color and depth perception. Must possess a valid Class E State driver's license at the time of appointment. Must possess Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) certifications: IS-700, IS-800, IS-100, IS-200, IS-300, and IS-400 at the time of appointment.
Police Major SALARY RANGE: $23.18 to $53.25/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $50.47/hour. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must reside in Florida, within a 35-mile radius of the intersection of North Monroe and Tennessee Streets, Tallahassee, at the time of appointment. Purchasing Agent / Contracts Specialist SALARY RANGE: $14.86 to $34.15/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $25.89/hour. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS An incumbent of this job classification will be required to file a financial disclosure statement with the Supervisor of Elections in their county of residence, in compliance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 112, Part III. Such filing is required within 30 days of placement in a covered position, annually thereafter by no later than July 1 of each year in which they serve in the covered position, and within 60 days of leaving the covered position.

Traffic Management Technician I or II SALARY RANGE: $11.06 to $25.38/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $18.98/hour. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN I TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN II NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN I Must possess a Class - B State Commercial Driver License at the time of appointment, or must have passed the appropriate written Class - B CDL test and obtained a Class - B CDL permit at the time of appointment and obtain the appropriate Class - B CDL licensure within 90 calendar days from date of employment as a condition for continued employment. Must obtain the Florida Department of Transportation Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic certification within six months of initial employment and maintain this certification as a condition of continued employment. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN II Must possess a Class - B State Commercial Driver License (CDL) at the time of appointment, or must have passed the appropriate written Class - B CDL test and obtained a Class - B CDL permit at the time of appointment and obtain the appropriate Class - B CDL licensure within 90 calendar days from date of employment as a condition for continued employment. Must obtain the Florida Department of Transportation Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic certification within six months of initial employment and maintain this certification as a condition of continued employment.
