QUINCY, Fla. -- Two men are facing felony marijuana-related charges after officers found more than a pound of marijuana in the suspects' vehicle, according to Quincy police.

The arrest took place on Friday, March 8, at 11:30 p.m. Lieutenant Eric Howell was on routine patrol when he began talking with several men sitting in a vehicle parked in a local restaurant's lot.

While talking with the men, Lt. Howell noticed a strong "burnt marijuana" smell coming from the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, police say two men inside the car had a gallon-sized plastic bag of the illegal drug. Officers say the bag contained more than a pound of marijuana.

The suspects--Terrall O. Smith, 27, and Cornelius Wooden, 26-- are charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
