BRADFORDVILLE, Fla. -- If you live in the Bradfordville area, Talquin Electric officials are asking you to boil your water before you drink and use it.
The precautionary boil water notice only affects Talquin Electric Cooperative water members in the Bradfordville Regional Service area east of Proctor Road. The area includes East Proctor Rd, Centerville Rd to Moccasin Gap and the Chemonie Cross Subdivision.
Officials say that you should not drink your water without boiling it first. Bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using it for drinking or cooking.
Officials say the underlying problem has been corrected, and they are currently collecting samples to confirm that the water is safe. They are expecting results within 48 hours.
