WAKULLA COUNTY, FL (WTXL) -- Two men were arrested for drug trafficking after an operation was staged in the parking area of Wal-Mart Thursday, said Wakulla County Deputies.

“The Narcotics Unit received information that there was going to be a narcotics delivery to Wakulla County with the distribution of narcotics taking place at Wal-Mart,” said Sheriff Creel. “The WCSO and U.S. Marshals observed the transaction occur and came in for the arrests. The two men were arrested without incident.”

Tatani Shervington Roach, 37, of Monticello and Justin Wayne Jackson, 39, of Tallahassee were both arrested.

WCSO seized 194.5 grams of commercial grade crystal methamphetamines with a street value estimated at approximately $40,000. Law Enforcement officials also seized $10,000 cash and two vehicles.

“We will not tolerate individuals bringing narcotics into our county,” said Sheriff Creel. “We have doubled the size of the narcotics unit during the past two years and purchased a drug dog through the use of seized drug money. Our efforts to eradicate the drug trade will be continuing.”

The investigation is ongoing.
