FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a woman and her toddler were critically injured when they were hit by an SUV.
Fort Lauderdale Police Detective Tracy Figone told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that the woman was pushing the child in a stroller at the crosswalk Sunday evening when they were hit.
The mother and child were taken to a nearby hospital.
Figone said the driver remained at the scene and hasn't been cited.
