BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - A Manatee County woman is crediting social media with helping her recognize the man who allegedly broke into her house after realizing he was one of her Facebook friends.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Andrew Perry had a gun in his hand when he broke into a home on 10th Ave W Tuesday night - demanding to know "where the man of the house" was.
The victim fled the home and call 911, and deputies say she later identified Perry because he's a friend of hers on Facebook.
Perry is now facing charges of armed burglary and resisting arrest without violence. He is being held on $21,000 bond.
