Watching Tropical Disturbance near the Marshall Islands
As of Sunday morning, EST, an area of tropical low pressure was located approximately 310 miles southeast of Kosrae.
Latest satellite imagery shows a low-level circulation center with some deep convection near the center. Due to warm sea surface temperatures and low vertical wind shear this system is likely to
develop into a tropical cyclone by Tuesday as it continues to move westward over the next few days.
Southern Pacific:
