SANFORD, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a 63-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a school bus filled with students on their way to school.

Troopers said in a news release that the school bus driver pulled into the path of an oncoming motorcycle in Sanford around 7:25 a.m. Friday.

The incident report says Dewey Nelson of Sanford was thrown from the bike and ended up under the bus. There were 20 to 25 children on the bus. No students were injured.

The report says an investigation continues and charges are pending against the school bus driver.

Sanford is northeast of Orlando in central Florida.
