LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say four people are dead after a seven-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 in central Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened Tuesday morning near Lakeland.
The westbound lanes of the interstate, which runs between Daytona Beach and Tampa, are closed. Traffic is being re-routed.
Officials are asking motorists to avoid the area.
