—————
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The Pacific Northwest will catch a brief break in the
disruptive snow today, but it will not last long. By day's
end, more snow will spread across western Washington and
northwestern Oregon. The snow will press over more of the
Northwest at night. During the day, snow will continue to
spread across the Rockies and over the mountains of
California. Gusty winds will whip more of the Southwest as
rain wets the lower elevations of California. Meanwhile,
another winter storm will deliver snow across the Midwest
with an icy mix near the Ohio River. On the warmer side of
the storm, rain will fall from Kentucky to eastern Oklahoma
and Texas. Ahead of the storm, dry weather will span the
East Coast. It will be seasonably chilly from North Carolina
to eastern New England.
