NATIONAL SUMMARY
A snowy day is in store for New York and much of New England
today, with up to three inches of accumulation possible.
Morning flurries will dust the Ohio Valley while a line of
showers streaks offshore after dampening areas from southern
Texas through Georgia and the Carolinas. Otherwise,
generally cloudy conditions are expected throughout the
South. It will be partly sunny but frigid throughout the
Plains and Midwest, with high temperatures in the single
digits across the northern Plains. A storm in the
southwestern U.S. will promote snow showers throughout much
of the Four Corners states. Some snow is also expected in
the Interior Northwest. Outside of snowy areas, the West
will overall be dry, cool and sunny.
