TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Monday, Tallahassee Community College will hold the 17th annual unveiling of its Cherry Hall African-American History Calendar.
The calendar, named after the inaugural chair of the African-American History Planning Committee at TCC, will feature African-American leaders and achievers from Leon County and its surrounding areas.
Also listed in the calendar are important TCC events and notable days in African-American history.
The theme for the 2017 calendar, according to a TCC press release, is "African-American Champions of Education.
A reception before the unveiling will begin at 5:45pm in Turner Auditorium, and the unveiling ceremony will begin at 7pm.
