TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Senate is sending two messages to Congress: set term limits for senators and representatives, and condemn efforts to boycott Israel.
The chamber passed both resolutions on Tuesday. The first asks Congress to support a constitutional amendment to set term limits for its members. It doesn't suggest want limits should be imposed.
The second resolution condemns the boycott, divestment and sanction movement against Israel. It says growing efforts to boycott the country are anti-Semitic and seek to eliminate the Jewish state.
That resolution is also being delivered to President Barack Obama.
