MIAMI, FL.  (AP) - Federal authorities say they've captured a third suspect in a Lakeland triple homicide from last month.

The U.S. Marshals Service reports in a news release that 25-year-old Jamaal John Smith was picked up in Miami Thursday night. Smith is suspected in the Jan. 6 deaths of 24-year-old David Washington, 31-year-old Eneida Branch and 23-year-old Angelica Guadalupe Castro.

Smith faces three counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of armed burglary. He was being held without bond at the Miami-Dade County jail.

Deputies arrested 35-year-old Andrew Joseph and 26-year-old Jonathan Alcegaire in connection with the shootings last month.

Authorities found the victims shot to death at a Lakeland home. Eighteen-year-old Felix Campos was shot in the face, but survived. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd says the victims were in the drug trade.
