ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say four children were injured when a driver lost control on a rain-slickened road near Orlando and hit them.
Orlando police Lt. Jonathan Bigelow tells the Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/2bP6uw0 ) the children were either walking or standing with their mother on the side of the road when the car hit them Thursday night.
Bigelow says the children range in age from 5 to 11.
He says the Camaro started spinning and hit a parked vehicle. It then hit the children. They were taken to a hospital, where three were treated and released. Bigelow says the 6-year-old was stayed in the hospital overnight, awaiting surgery on her femur.
