MIAMI (AP) - A recent nursing graduate has died after being shot at a house party in South Florida.
Police tell news outlets that 23-year-old Alexandra Dean was shot Saturday night while attending the party at a home in Miami Gardens.
Miami Gardens police say a disturbance erupted outside the home and someone opened fire.
Dean was struck and died at a hospital.
Police say it appears Dean was an innocent bystanders and likely not the intended target of the shooting.
Dean had just graduated in May from Nova Southern University with a degree in nursing.
No arrests have been made.
