WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say one of two toddlers pulled from a backyard pool in South Florida on Thanksgiving Day has died.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera told the Palm Beach Post on Friday that one little boy died at a local hospital. The second boy remained in critical condition.
Rescue officials say the boys were found Thursday morning at a home near West Palm Beach. Bystanders pulled them from the water and tried to revive them before rescue workers arrived.
The names and ages of the victims weren't immediately available, and it wasn't clear how the boys ended up in the water.
