ATLANTA (AP) - A free mobile application has been released to help protect Georgia-based military service members, veterans and their families.
Attorney General Chris Carr announced Wednesday the app called Basis Training will help those within the military community become more informed as consumers and avoid scams.
The new app helps users through financial issues from buying a car, understanding credit reports and pay day loans.
The app was created through the efforts of Georgia's Attorney General's Consumer Unit and Georgia Watch.
