TAMPA, FL. (AP) - A Citrus County man charged with setting fire to a church has been indicted on three federal counts of making bombs threats toward several targets, including the Crystal River nuclear power plant.
The Tampa Tribune reports that 24-year-old David Wayne Willmott emailed the threats from computers in the public library in Inverness from Nov. 25, 2014, to April 17, 2015.
According to an arrest affidavit released Thursday, the targets also included Pleasant Grove Elementary School, airports in Tampa and Clearwater, the Hernando and Citrus county courthouses and the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Willmott faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison for each count. He's being held at the Hernando County Jail on unrelated charges of arson and making a false bomb threat.
