ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Georgia man was seriously wounded at a northeast Florida shooting range.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office reports that the 62-year-old man was behind a target at the at the Ancient City Shooting Range in St. Augustine Friday morning when he was shot in the upper leg and lower abdomen. The Florida Times-Union reports that he was airlifted to a Jacksonville hospital and listed in stable condition.
It wasn't immediately clear how the man was shot. Officials believe the shooting was accidental, but they are still investigating.
