SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia man convicted of raping a 16-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman, and trying to rape a 13-year-old girl, faces three consecutive life sentences, plus 115 years to serve concurrently.

Chatham County Superior Court Judge Louisa Abbot sentenced Theron Morrell Hendrix on Friday, saying he should never have a chance at parole.

Georgia inmates can ask for parole after 30 years of a life sentence.

The Savannah Morning News reports (http://bit.ly/2skepuR ) that Abbott said the victims showed extraordinary poise and bravery in testifying.

The assaults were in Savannah between August 2014 and February 2016.

Abbott praised a woman who spotted Hendrix and called 911 six days after the 2016 attack. He was caught that day.

Hendrix was convicted June 8 on numerous charges including kidnapping and aggravated sodomy.
