PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - A Florida Panhandle man is facing charges in a crash that left four Ohio men dead.
The Panama City News Herald (https://goo.gl/Q3rsOt ) reports that 21-year-old Cody Austin Shirah was charged Tuesday with driving without a license involving death or injury and negligent manslaughter involving a motor vehicle.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Shirah was driving a pickup truck in Panama City early Saturday morning and failed to stop at a stop sign. The truck hit the right side of a van carrying five men who were in town for the World Sports League World Softball Championships. Two of the van's occupants died at the scene, two died Sunday and one remained in critical condition.
Shirah and his passenger were both injured.
