TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County government is hosting a job Expo tomorrow with the goal of helping people with a high school diploma and less than a four-year college degree find skilled work.
According to Leon County, Within the next seven years, the area is estimated to have over 10,000 new skilled jobs in the areas of health, business and information technology, creative and trade that require some kind of training.
At tomorrow's Expo, they will be connecting job-seekers with employers and academic institutions to fill this gap.
The Expo kicks off at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow at the Lively Technical Center.
