ATLANTA (AP) — Lawyers for a woman who was arrested along with the rapper Bow Wow following an altercation say she was a victim, not the aggressor.
Atlanta police have said officers responded to a call in midtown Atlanta around 4:15 a.m. Saturday. Leslie Holden told them Bow Wow had assaulted her. Bow Wow, whose given name is Shad Moss, told officers Holden assaulted him.
Police say they couldn't determine who was the primary aggressor and both had minor injuries, so both were arrested and charged with battery.
A lawyer for the rapper said in a statement Saturday that two witnesses said Holden was "without a doubt the primary aggressor."
A lawyer for Holden said in a statement Thursday that once all the facts are presented, they are confident Holden will be exonerated.
