ATLANTA (AP) — Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (IVR) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $161.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had a loss of $1.54. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 46 cents per share.
The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $245.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $143.9 million.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $70.8 million, or $1.03 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as -$17.5 million.
Invesco Mortgage Capital shares have risen roughly 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $15.90, a fall of 1 percent in the last 12 months.
