CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar. delivery fell 5.60 cents at $5.1460 a bushel; Mar. corn lost 5.40 cents at $3.73 a bushel; Mar. oats was off 3.20 cents at $2.8220 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans dropped 2.40 cents at 9.11 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle was unchanged at $1.2730 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose .37 cents at $1.4445 a pound; Feb. lean hogs fell .10 cent at .5522 a pound.
