CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar. delivery rose 3.60 cents at $5.20 a bushel; Mar. corn gained 3.20 cents at $3.7760 a bushel; Mar. oats was up 2 cents at $2.85 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans advanced 5.40 cents at 9.1540 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle was off .99 cent at $1.2638 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle fell .52 cent at $1.4408 a pound; Feb. lean hogs lost .22 cent at .5505 a pound.
