CUMMING, Ga. (AP) - A south Forsyth County woman has turned herself into law enforcement on child molestation and rape charges.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez tells local news media that 48-year-old Kathy Tompa turned herself in Thursday morning. She is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, aggravated child molestation and statutory rape.

Tompa's attorney A.J. Richman says his client doesn't have a criminal record. He says Tompa is disappointed, but hoping the justice will prevail.

Tompa is being held at the Forsyth County Jail without bond. Tompa is scheduled to have her first court appearance Friday.
