In a statement on Tuesday, Secretary of State Brian Kemp's office blamed the errors on a technology provider for the Department of Driver Services. The statement says anyone who tried to register online since Friday should check their status online at .

Voter registration information can be updated until Oct. 11. That's also the deadline to register to vote in Georgia.

Officials said the problem was fixed by Monday afternoon.
