WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Sheriff's officials say an east Georgia man is charged with murder in the death of his brother-in-law, who was missing for two weeks before his body was found in a shallow grave.
Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry says 36-year-old Daniel Lamar Anglin is charged in the death of 42-year-old Chad Ruark. The man was shot twice in the head.
Ruark was last seen on Feb. 23 in Watkinsville. His body was found Tuesday near the spot where he was last seen, and Anglin was arrested the same day.
Officials say a tracking dog located the victim's remains.
The alleged motive in the slaying is unclear.
