...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY EXTENDED THROUGH 11 AM WEDNESDAY...
.The combination of high astronomical tides and an onshore flow
will lead to some minor coastal flooding, at and near the time of
high tide, along the oceanfront, estuaries and St Johns River
between Mayport and Downtown.
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...
* LOCATIONS...Southeast Georgia coastal locations.
* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding along the Atlantic
Coast, Intracoastal Waterway, and adjacent estuaries around
high tide around 6 AM to 11 AM this morning. Low lying roads,
boat ramps and some parking lots will be impacted by high
tidal levels. Higher than normal water levels may exist again
for Wednesday morning's high tide.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
