...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...
Conasauga River near Tilton affecting Gordon...Murray and
Whitfield Counties
Oostanaula River near Resaca affecting Floyd and Gordon Counties
Oostanaula River near Rome US Hwy. 27 affecting Floyd County
The Flood Warning continues for
The Conasauga River near Tilton.
* Until Sunday morning.
* At 8 PM Wednesday the stage was 19.4 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Flood stage is 18 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 19.9 feet by early Thursday
afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
* At 18 feet...Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding begins in the
woodlands...fields and pastures along the river upstream and downstream
from the gage on the Brackett Ridge Road bridge.

* At 7 PM Wednesday the stage was 25.6 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Flood stage is 25 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 25.9 feet by Thursday
morning. The river will fall below flood stage early Friday
morning.
* At 25 feet...Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding occurs in the
woodlands and fields along the river upstream and downstream from
the gage on the Turner McCall bridge or U.S. Highway 27. The
Heritage Park Rome Greenway continues to flood with some locations
up to 5 feet deep. All drainage valves must be closed at the
outfalls in Rome. The flood gate on the Rome levee should be
closed.

* From this evening until late Sunday night.
* At 7 PM Wednesday the stage was 21.8 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage Wednesday evening and
continue to rise to near 25.8 feet by early Saturday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by Sunday night before midnight.
* At 24 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands...fields and
pastures along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on U S
Highway 41 or Battlefield Parkway.
The Flood Warning continues for
The Oostanaula River near Resaca.
* From this evening until late Sunday night.
* At 7 PM Wednesday the stage was 21.8 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage Wednesday evening and
continue to rise to near 25.8 feet by early Saturday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by Sunday night before midnight.
* At 24 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands...fields and
pastures along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on U S
Highway 41 or Battlefield Parkway.
