TITUSVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida corrections officer told authorities he exposed his genitals while following a woman around a store “because he thought she was attractive.”
The Orlando Sentinel reports 55-year-old William Keister pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent exposure. An affidavit says the 16-year veteran of the Orange County Corrections Department resigned Friday.
A witness told deputies Keister was walking around a Dollar General with his genitals in his hand. According to deputies, Keister said he exposed himself and followed the woman around the Mims store.
Authorities said Keister told them he began masturbating, “but stopped because he knew it was wrong.”
The affidavit says the incident was captured on camera and a co-worker identified Keister as the man.
It’s unclear if he has a lawyer who could comment.
