...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN COLLIER AND MAINLAND

MONROE COUNTIES UNTIL 645 AM EST...

* At 620 AM EST, National Weather Service meteorologists were

tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles

north of Copeland to near Wilderness Waterway to 6 miles southwest

of Middle Cape Sable. Movement was east at 20 mph.

* Winds in excess of 45 mph and funnel clouds possible with these

storms.

* Locations impacted include...

Northwest Cape Sable, Wilderness Waterway, Loop Road Ee Center, Big

Cypress National Preserve, Flamingo, Dade-Collier Training Airport,

Middle Cape Sable, Miles City, Jerome and Deep Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This activity was also developing in an environment favorable for the

formation of funnel clouds. Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio and
