Patchy fog continues to spread across portions of South Florida

early this morning. Visibility may suddenly decrease to one half

mile in many locations, and possibly one quarter mile in localized

areas.

While the fog is generally in the interior areas, some coastal

metro areas, such as West Palm Beach may also be affected.

Drivers should prepare for the possibility of encountering rapid

changes or reductions in visibilities from fog. When driving in

dense fog, reduce your speed, use only your low beam headlights,

and leave plenty of distance between your vehicle and the one in

front of you.
