ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A bald eagle rescued from a storm drain in central Florida has died.
The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey said on its Facebook page that the eagle died Monday night at a veterinary hospital.
The eagle had fluid around her heart or air in her abdomen, indicating other injuries. She was rescued last week from a storm drain where she had gotten stuck with another eagle, which eventually managed to fly away.
