AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a woman caught in a weekend shootout in Augusta has died.
The Richmond County coroner's office says 21-year-old Brittany Trantham died early Monday.
Officials say the woman was shot after an argument led to a shootout between relatives early Saturday.
A release from the sheriff's department say two cousins had a dispute that spilled out into a road. One of the men began to leave in a vehicle, and Trantham was shot as the other man opened fire.
The Augusta Chronicle (http://bit.ly/1O3i4Et ) reports that 36-year-old Shanadore Harman is charged with aggravated assault and firearms crimes.
Authorities found Harman hiding under a tree after the shooting.
