BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore Police have charged a man they say crashed a stolen car into a fence at Fort Meade and hid on the installation for hours with crimes in Baltimore.
Detective Jeremy Silbert said in a news release Friday that 41-year-old Dontae Small has been charged with robbery, assault and gun-related charges.
Silbert says that on Sunday night in south Baltimore, three men approached a man who had just parked his car. Silbert says one suspect was armed with a handgun and demanded the keys to the driver's car.
The driver gave the men the keys and they drove.
Authorities say on Wednesday, Small led police on a chase and crashed into the Fort Meade fence.
Officials say Small hid overnight in a storm drain and was arrested after he emerged.
